'Sunny Side Up - Breakfast with Barbie and Ken'. When I interviewed Ken and Barbie for this painting, Ken said: “When our eyes first met, I froze, I was speechless. Her beauty was so unique I knew she would be ageless.” Barbie says: “I felt the same way about Ken, I stared at him like a deer caught in the headlights of a car, although I did question his fashion sense.“ Ken and Barbie both said: What keeps our relationship alive is that we keep reinventing ourselves. We are independent but we just go together. Plus we don’t sweat the small stuff…we have no sweat glands. Our love is durable (and non-degradable).
